In September I took over a plugin from another author, and also shipped a feature for Smart Rename and a small tool for plugin authors.
New plugins
Consistent Attachments and Links: now maintained by me
Keep attachments next to the notes that use them, and links in plain relative Markdown, so your notes open correctly in other editors and on GitHub. Moving or deleting a note moves or deletes its attachments too, leaving alone the ones other notes still use, and a command checks the whole vault for broken links. The plugin was started by another author in 2021.
New in existing plugins
Smart Rename: titles file names cannot hold
Give a note a title with characters a file name cannot hold, such as ? or :. The file name drops or replaces them, and the full title is kept as an alias. Smart Rename can also update the note’s title property and its first heading to match.
