May brought no releases, but three posts on this blog, written when I had just moved to Obsidian.

Perfect Notes or My Journey to Obsidian
The long story of how I chose Obsidian. It lists the features I wanted from a note-taking app, goes through every app I used or tried from 2000 on, from Evernote to Notion and Joplin, says why each fell short, and ends with the plugins I use and how I migrated my notes.
How to debug Obsidian plugins
Investigate how a plugin behaves with the tools Obsidian already has. Obsidian is an Electron app, so Chrome’s Developer Tools work in it: find a plugin’s code by its id, step through it even without its sources, and build and reload your own plugin as you change it.
Software for perfectionists
A short list of the apps I chose for keeping my digital life in order, with Obsidian for notes, beside the ones for photos, ebooks, music and finding files.
